Also - do yourself a favor and make THIS banana bread today!  It makes two yummy loaves and is a great way to use up those extra bananas!

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup butter 
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 T. milk
• 3 ripened bananas
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• Dash of salt
• 1/2 bag chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix butter and sugar until creamy and smooth.  Add eggs and blend.  Add milk and bananas and blend.  Add remainder of ingrediants and mix until just moistened.  Pour batter in two greased loaf pans and bake for approximately 50 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.  

First lost tooth!!

It was a BIG day at the Heimann house!  Grady lost his first tooth!  We knew that it was coming...his permanent teeth have been coming in behind the row of baby teeth, and they needed some space!  Josh kept trying to get Grady to let him pull that sucker out...Grady, to his credit, let him try a few times but got scared off mainly because of Katelyn and Braden's reactions to it.  (Ok, mine too!!)  :)  The very next day after Josh tried to pull it, Grady was just wiggling it around on our way to Great Grandma's house.  He said it came out of it's slot and he couldn't get it back in....it had fallen out!  Some pictures from the proud boy!

Summer is flying by!

And I wanted to document some fun things that we're doing!  Sorry - not the most exciting post, followers.  (Do I still have followers?  Haha.)  I want to get better about using the blog to document memories for myself.  Here are some from our recent camping trip!  We only went one night but crammed a lot of fun in!

Was my last blog post really back in September??  Sad day!

Things going on in our lives...last night was the first night of tball practice!  Grady and Kingsley are at the same time in different locations....awesome.  I'm helping coach G's team, so I was there.  Those boys are awesome.  Team pic:

Last night was also swimming lesson and pool pass sign up!  Yay!  Both kids are going in July so hopefully the pool is a little warmer than last year.....and that Kingsley actually gets in this time.

Kids family birthday party is this weekend and friend party is next weekend!  Lots to do before that happens.  Thankfully, Josh has Saturday and Sunday off this weekend, which will be nice.  

I'm actually in the final day of technology workshops at UNI and the focus is on blogging today!  So I'm getting paid right now to write this post.  I actually feel like a pro in this workshop for the first time today as I already have a blog and kind of know what's going on here.

SUMMER is just around the corner!  Lots of plans and lots of ideas on my kid Pinterest board!  I should document what we're doing on our blog.....maybe I just will!  It will force me to document our lives a little more!  I looooovve looking back at my old blog posts to remember things.

Girls night!

The boys are out fishing and Kingsley and I decided to stay home.  We just had a nice relaxing bubble bath, then painted our toes.  Now, it's snuggles and Dora for a bit before bed.

I remembered I have some questions to ask her and get recorded...perfect task for our little girls night.  Here we go!

Kingsley's First Day

Yep.  I cried.  Not full out, but teared up.  How is it possible that my baby is in preschool??  Look how cute she is with her backpack though.  :)  Sweet little punkin.  She was a little hesitant to go in but went with a kind teacher who was talking to her.  She's only there an hour today...I am already ready to go and get her!!  Happy first day, baby girl!  :)

Grady's First Day!

Happy first day of Pre-K, Grady!!  I actually wasn't sad to see him go this year...and not because I am sick of him.  (Though he has been picking on his sister a LOT lately.)  :)  He's going to the same room with the same teachers for the third year.  I LOVE them, they do an AWESOME job, and I know he's going to enjoy it.  Kingsley starting 3 year old preschool on Friday...now that's a different story.  Oof.

Some questions for G.  I just found this list and am going to ask him for his answers tomorrow.  I'll do the same thing with Kings on Fri.
