Kingsley's First Day

Yep.  I cried.  Not full out, but teared up.  How is it possible that my baby is in preschool??  Look how cute she is with her backpack though.  :)  Sweet little punkin.  She was a little hesitant to go in but went with a kind teacher who was talking to her.  She's only there an hour today...I am already ready to go and get her!!  Happy first day, baby girl!  :)

Grady's First Day!

Happy first day of Pre-K, Grady!!  I actually wasn't sad to see him go this year...and not because I am sick of him.  (Though he has been picking on his sister a LOT lately.)  :)  He's going to the same room with the same teachers for the third year.  I LOVE them, they do an AWESOME job, and I know he's going to enjoy it.  Kingsley starting 3 year old preschool on Friday...now that's a different story.  Oof.

Some questions for G.  I just found this list and am going to ask him for his answers tomorrow.  I'll do the same thing with Kings on Fri.

1. What is your favorite color? Red, green and blue.
2.  What is your favorite toy?  Power ranger sets
3. What is your favorite fruit? Bananas sprinkled with sugar
4. What is your favorite TV show? Power Rangers
5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Mashed potatoes and corn
6. What is your favorite outfit? Batman shirts
7. What is your favorite game?  Starwars and Mario on the Wii
8. What is your favorite snack? Granola bars
9. What is your favorite animal? Cats - Max and Patches
10. What is your favorite song? Twinkle, twinkle little star
11. What is your favorite book? Power Rangers and Batman
12. Who is your best friend?  Ethan and Will

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Play tag and swing on the swingset
15. What is your favorite drink?  Apple juice

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? Scratchy, water, flashlight
18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Cereal
19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Batman cake
20. What do you want to be when you grow up? Red Power Ranger or a Rock Star.  Maybe both.

Yup, it's me again. The most inconsistent blogger ever.  (Well, probably not ever.)  I just posted this on FB and wanted it HERE as well so I could remember it.  It's part of a conversation that Grady and Kingsley had as I was getting supper ready after her preschool orientation night.  Here you go:

"Now Kinglsey. There are going to be a LOT of other kids there. And they are going to take the toys that you are playing with. Don't get mad, just say, "I was playing with that. Could I have it back please?" And if they don't give it back, say it again. And they are going to want you to write your name. Don't feel bad if you can't right away. You'll get it. You are going to have so much fun." 

How cute is that?!  Today he was reminding her of what to say to get toys back..I feel like that is a big issue in his life.  :)
